(Phoenix, AZ) — Arizona Senator Martha McSally is echoing President Trump’s criticisms of the World Health Organization. McSally says W.H.O. officials are untrustworthy and were complicit as the pandemic grew.

“We would be in a better place as a country to attack this virus and kill this virus and minimize the economic impact if Communist China and the World Health Organization wasn’t so reckless.”

Trump Adviser Peter Navarro reportedly warned President Trump back in January about COVID-19 and mass fatalities as a result of the virus. However Tuesday morning, Trump tweeted “The W.H.O really blew it.” He went on to claim the organization is “China centric” and they gave a faulty recommendation to keep America’s borders open to China. McSally says China is to blame for the worldwide spread of the virus for silencing their doctors when they tried to sound alarms, then kicking out journalists covering the coronavirus.

Additional quotes:

McSally says coronavirus deaths across the nation are on the Chinese government’s hands.

“They knew about this virus.  Their dangerous, inhumane and deadly wet markets, where live and dead animals are being sold, allowed this to spread… allowed people to continue to travel.”

McSally says W.H.O officials allowed China’s attempts to cover up the virus.

“This is what I know…  I learned the day I joined the military: Never trust a communist.  China is to blame for this pandemic and the deaths of thousands of Americans.”
