(National Harbor, MD)  — Utah Senator Mitt Romney is being discouraged from attending a conservative conference in Maryland.  After Romney cast the single Republican vote to convict President Trump, he was uninvited to the Conservative Political Action Conference in National Harbor this month.  CPAC Chairman Matt Schlapp says Romney’s safety would be at risk and he would not be registered as a conservative, should he choose to attend. Schlapp reiterated he’d be afraid for Romney’s safety because he’s hated by many in his party.
